Just two steps away from the central Piazza del Popolo and via Cavour, the VIA ZIRARDINI OPEN-AIR GALLERY is an outdoor gallery located right in the heart of Ravenna.

This suggestive street of the historical centre of the city has hosted every month, since summer 2021, posters dedicated to various forms of art: from photography to street art, from portraits to contemporary art.

The temporary exhibitions hosted in this open-air gallery are dedicated every month to a different theme, with focuses on special itineraries, works by local artists, events taking places in various places of the city and much more.

AUGUST 2026 VISIONI DI ETERNO

From 4th August to 8th September 2026, the Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery will host VISIONI DI ETERNO, a photographic exhibition showcasing Andrea Bernabini’s (NEO Project) artistic project at the Mausoleum of Theodoric.

The project forms part of the Celebrazioni Teodoriciane, and more specifically of Settimana di Teodorico, during which, once again this year, the Istrian stone of the Mausoleum will be illuminated and brought to life, offering a captivating visual spectacle combining light, music and movement.

How to get there

Via Zirardini is located in the heart of the historical centre of Ravenna, between Piazza del Popolo and via Cavour.

On foot: the area is easily reachable on foot from the nearby railway station.

By bus: all bus routes stop in Piazza Caduti per la Libertà, located 300 m away. For more information: startromagna.it
