APRIL 2024 – EXODUS – UMANITÀ IN CAMMINO

From 3rd April to 1st May 2024, Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery hosts a selection of photography exhibited at MAR – Ravenna Art Museum for EXODUS – UMANITÀ IN CAMMINO, an exhibition curated by Lélia Wanick Salgado dedicated to the great Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado.

The exhibition is part of the Festival of Cultures, whose program is also displayed as an introduction to Salgado’s images.

In 1993, Salgado embarked on his epic photographic journey, exploring the theme of migration, both physical and existential. During six intense years, he crossed four continents, capturing with his shots the beginning and end of multiple migration routes.
