From 28th October to 22nd November 2026, the Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery is hosting the photographic exhibition NON SONO (IN)DIFFERENTE, as part of the L’Arte che include Festival, curated by Nerval Teatro.
The fourteen images by photographer Marco Parollo were taken during Nerval Teatro’s ongoing workshop Il teatro è differenza.
Each image is accompanied by a word and a quotation taken from Il Diario delle differenze, a storytelling and testimonial project created by a group of female students from the Liceo delle Scienze Umane in Ravenna, who, guided by the scholar and lecturer Lorenzo Donati, supported the workshop by observing its work and experimenting with forms of diary and journalistic writing.
Image after image, word after word, the exhibition thus forms a sort of vocabulary of differences: a lexicon made up of encounters, gestures, emotions and discoveries.
Embarrassment, gaze, body, imagination, anticipation, patience and other words intertwine with the photographs and the students’ voices, conveying an experience in which even the way we look at things and relate to one another can be transformed – like an open dictionary that speaks of differences but also of the possibilities of encounter and inclusion.
Saturday 7th November at 3 pm site-specific performance Non sono (in)differente with the students of the Risvegli training programme, organised by Spazio A in collaboration with Nerval Teatro.
