Visiting Ravenna by bike means discovering both the city and its surroundings, combining sustainability and pleasure.

Thanks to the network of cycle routes departing from the city centre, you can easily visit the historical centre or reach the nine beach towns of the Ravenna coastline.

Along the various itineraries you will have the possibility to admire suggestive places, breathtaking views, landscapes of unblemished nature and historical remains.

The city centre of Ravenna and all the surrounding towns, especially the beach towns, are connected through a widespread network of buses managed by START ROMAGNA.

“FRECCIA BLU” BUS

FRECCIA BLU provides routes to easily reach the sea and come back to the city. The service connects Ravenna with: Marina di Ravenna, Punta Marina Terme and Lido Adriano.

NAVETTO MARE – SHUTTLE TO THE SEA

From 8th April to 10th September, free parking and buses on weekends and public holidays from the parkings of via Trieste and via del Marchesato to the beaches of Marina di Ravenna and from the parking of via Trieste to the beaches of Punta Marina Terme.

By car

Ravenna features many parking areas, both paid and free.

Most of the city centre is a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL in Italian). The circulation of motor vehicles is therefore subject to restrictions, according to specific time frames, and access is monitored by an electronic control system.
