Just two steps away from the central Piazza del Popolo and via Cavour, the VIA ZIRARDINI OPEN-AIR GALLERY is an outdoor gallery located right in the heart of Ravenna.

This suggestive street of the historical centre of the city has hosted every month, since summer 2021, posters dedicated to various forms of art: from photography to street art, from portraits to contemporary art.

The temporary exhibitions hosted in this open-air gallery are dedicated every month to a different theme, with focuses on special itineraries, works by local artists, events taking places in various places of the city and much more.

NOVEMBER 2025 SEQUENZE DI FABBRICA • HAMON

From 14th November to 2nd December 2025, the Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery will host SEQUENZE DI FABBRICA DI ADRIANO ZANNI • HAMON DI CODECZOMBIE.

These two photography exhibitions are part of Transmissions OFF, a parallel section of the Transmissions Festival dedicated to events throughout the city.

Two perspectives on Ravenna’s industrial heritage, between the almost alien structures surrounding the city and the documentation of the fall and transformation of the iconic Hamon Towers.

How to get there

Via Zirardini is located in the heart of the historical centre of Ravenna, between Piazza del Popolo and via Cavour.

On foot: the area is easily reachable on foot from the nearby railway station.

By bus: all bus routes stop in Piazza Caduti per la Libertà, located 300 m away. For more information: startromagna.it

By car: access to the historical centre of Ravenna is limited. For more information on nearby parking areas, click HERE.
