Surrounded by waters, nestled between the Adriatic sea and the Pialassa della Baiona, MARINA ROMEA is one of the most elegant beah resorts on the Ravenna coastline.

Founded in the 1950s as a residential area, featuring mainly second houses, it is an oasis immersed in the green, with a marina, stables, sports facilities and paths that take you directly to the golden sand beach.

The well-equipped facilities and the many bathing establishments alternate with streches of entirely free beach. With crystal-clear sea water, annually awarded the Blue Flag, and a gradually descending seabed, it is an ideal place for the whole family.

Marina Romea is a beloved holiday destination for the pubs and the several parties on the beach. Even if you want to travel with your own pet, you will find here and in the nearby towns, like Casalborsetti, different solutions for your stay.

Surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, canoeing, beach tennis, beach volley, horse riding (even at the beach!), Nordic walking, fishing or just simply a walk or a bike ride in the lush pine forest: In Marina Romea holidays are also activity and sports in every time of the year.

If you are a rider, look for the cycle and pedestrian path running along the Lamone river that from the towns of Russi and Bagnacavallo reaches the Adriatic sea.

Not far away, the areas of the Po Delta Park are waiting for you. You can walk surrounded by the nature or take part in one of the many excursions, crossing the Pine Forest of San Vitale by bike or even try your hand doing birdwatching in one of the many huts hidden in the Oasis of Punte Alberete.

Enjoy the stunning view from the mouth of the river Lamone, so beloved by surfers. Here, on a clear day, you’ll see the coastline of Ravenna until Punta Marina Terme. Come here in the evening hours and you will fall in love: it’s so charming to see the sun slowly hiding behind the profile of the pine forest.
