From 4th August to 8th September 2026, the Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery is hosting the photographic exhibition VISIONI DI ETERNO – TEODORICO IL GRANDE, which showcases the 3D video mapping project by artist Andrea Bernabini.
The exhibition forms part of the initiatives linked to the Theodoric Celebrations marking the 1.500th anniversary of King Theodoric’s death, and in particular to Theodoric Week.
Ahead of a new immersive show of Visioni di eterno at the Mausoleum of Theodoric, Via Zirardini is hosting images from the most recent edition, captured by NEO Project.
The photographs illustrate how the Mausoleum of Theodoric becomes a living, pulsating surface of moving images, offering spectators a captivating visual spectacle.
The Istrian stone of the Mausoleum comes to life and is transformed through video mapping into images that dissolve in a dynamic interplay of light and movement, as can be seen from the photographs on display.
