As part of the 8th Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic, from 14th October to 2nd November 2023, the Oriani Library in Ravenna hosts the exhibition RACCONTI DI CITTÀ INVISIBILI, embracing the theme suggested by Ravenna Festival and celebrating the centenary of the birth of the Italian writer Italo Calvino.
Premiered at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts in Amman and created in parallel with Maestro Riccardo Muti’s Concert of Friendship, the exhibition showcases works realised by mosaic workshops from both cities, engaged in the reinterpretation of some significant paintings from the Jordanian museum.
