On the occasion of the Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary Mosaics, from 18th October 2025 to 18th January 2026, the National Archaeological Museum of Ravenna will host the exhibition ORODÈ DEORO – IL PRIMO TEMPIO E FUTURO D’AMORE.
Curated by Daniele Torcellini, displays two works recently exhibited at the Mosaici e Carte dipinte (lit. Mosaics and Painted Papers) exhibition, held at the Sigismondo Castromediano Museum and the Bernardini Library in Lecce, dedicated to Orodè Deoro (Taranto, 1974), an eccentric visual artist with a multifaceted language.
Through a keen taste for colour and sinuous profiles, the artist embodies a visionary and poetic imagery in mosaic – made up of symbols, portraits, self-portraits, memories, references to literature, history, religion and mythology – the result of a profound feeling that deals with ethical, existential and spiritual issues.
