From Saturday May 18th to Friday June 7th, the exhibition spaces of Palazzo Rasponi2 (PR2) are hosting an exhibition entitled LIGHTSCAPE by Maria Chiara Mignani.
The exhibition brings together works-collage, made with paper tears, newspaper clippings, photos and overlapping layers of oil paint.
In her works, the author conveys a unique luminosity, enriched by rarefied atmospheres and sometimes by the use of gold, which evokes the charm of mosaic tiles. The complexity of the textures and weaves, resulting from layered collages, invites the viewer to immerse himself in the work itself.
The constant search for innovation and stylistic enrichment has pushed the artist toward mixed media techniques increasingly close to abstractionism.
