From 14th October 2023 to 14th January 2024, in the frame of the 8th Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic, MAR – Ravenna Art Museum organised the exhibition of the works of the GAEM GIOVANI ARTISTI E MOSAICO AWARD, a competition dedicated to young artists under 35 who deal with mosaic as a technique, a language and a metaphor.
The exhibition will be on display at the Classense Library and is divided into three sections:
- Works realised with traditional materials and techniques for the Orsoni Venezia 1888 award
- Works realised with unconventional materials and techniques for the Nicola Cingoli award
- Artistic residencies dedicated to the realisation of projects related to the city of Ravenna and its relationship with mosaic, in collaboration with “Costellazione – Giovani connessioni creative“
