From 29 October to 8 December 2026, visitors will be able to view FRANCESCA PASQUALI– RIFUGIO PLASTICO. OLTRE IL CONFINE, a new installation – at the ORANJERI, curated by Giorgia Salerno.
The exhibition follows on from the show Francesca Pasquali: Rifugio plastico. Abitare il confine, curated by Giorgia Salerno, which was presented as part of the SPAZIO NEUTRO*programme at the MAR – Ravenna Art Museum.
Building on her exploration of the meaning of contemporary living, Francesca Pasquali’s artistic practice evolves and takes on new forms within the Oranjeri’s urban regeneration project, fostering a fresh dialogue between the artwork, the space and the transformation of the urban context. The two large cocoons, originally conceived for the previous exhibition at the MAR, now find a new home within an industrial landscape, establishing an unprecedented dialogue with the rigidity of the architecture and the surrounding area.
