The itineraries of Mosaico di Notte have been entertaining visitors for more than 20 years, opening the doors of the most beautiful monuments in the city to art lovers and visitors alike in the evening hours.
On Wednesday the Unesco monumnets of the Basilica of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Church of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo are ready to welcome citizens and tourists alike, to discover the thousand-years old architectures (admission only with advance booking – see below). However, on the other side of the city, in Classe, the Museum Classis opens its doors with its archaeological collections and little treasures (you can book your guided tour or just enter as an individual visitor without a guide).
On Friday the Basilica of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Domus of the Stone Carpets remain open in the evening hours, giving everyone the chance to enjoy these wonders and the magical and suggestive atmosphere they create.
