THE EVENT IS CANCELED!
The 22nd Ravenna Marathon will take place on Sunday, 8 November, which this year has been granted the UNESCO patronage for the value of the initiative, proving again to be one of the most important footraces at the national level that attract runners and their groups for a weekend dedicated to running, culture and tourism.
The marathon’s programme includes different routes and race types ranging from competitive – Marathon (42.195 km) and Half Marathon (21.097 km) – to non-competitive ones such as Good Morning Ravenna (10.5 km), Conad Family Run (2 km), Dogs&Run (2 km) and Correndo Senza Frontiere (2 Km).
The routes will stretch over the city centre, except for the Marathon, which will follow the road leading to Punta Marina. Runners will pass all the UNESCO monuments and run through the heart of Ravenna, diving directly into the Byzantine history.
