On Saturday 18th October, the lights in Ravenna turn on for NOTTE D’ORO. Guided tours, exhibitions, extraordinary evening openings of the monuments and much more will enliven the historical centre of the city with a wide programme of events.
This year, Notte d’Oro welcomes the 9th edition of the Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic – with the whole city involved in a rich programme of events, with its most charming places opening up to artists coming from all over the world.
Entrance to State Monuments (National Museum, Mausoleum of Theodoric, Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe and Arian Baptistery) is free for the entire day.

• PANPERS LIVE SHOW
Where: Piazza del Popolo
Time: 9 pm
An evening that combines lightheartedness and irony with reflections on contemporary issues: from climate change to artificial intelligence. The grotesque reality in which we live is analyzed with the aim of making us laugh at its strangest and most absurd aspects.
A series of sketches, monologues, and characters in the duo’s typical comic style. The PanPers declare that this show “represents their artistic maturity.”

The comedian from Romagna performs monologues that draw on memories, current events, and improvisation, offering an ironic take on relationships between men and women, food, and local traditions. His comedy combines lightheartedness and authenticity, seasoned with the unmistakable spirit of Romagna.

UNDICESIMACASA dj set
Where: MAR – Museo d’Arte della Città di Ravenna – Via di Roma, 13
Time: from 10 pm to 1.30 am
Japanese duo composed of Kiki Hitomi and Shigeru Ishihara. Their music intertwines Japanese tradition, tribal rhythms and contemporary electronic music, creating an intense and evocative experience. A concert that, like a mosaic, recomposes cultural and sound fragments into new forms, evoking a journey between animistic roots and future imaginaries. The evening will be opened and continued by the Bologna-based collective Undicesimacasa, with DJ sets and listening sessions.
