On Tuesday 3 August, the city centre livens up with the music of the CITY MARCHING BAND OF RAVENNA. This evening of entertainment is part of the wider summer city festival Ravenna Bella di Sera.
The city orchestra is ever-changing: it has always been combining the passion of tradition with sounds of the typical repertoire of the marching bands, though always looking at the contemporary context.
Maestro Mauro Vergimigli directs the City Marching Band of Ravenna, with its seventy musicians. It usually plays on official ceremonies, but also for public concerts in the city centre and beach resorts of Ravenna.
