After the great success of the last year, with almost ten thousand spectators, the summer festival CLASSE AL CHIARO DI LUNA – 2021 is taking place again this year with a good deal of news!
For two months, the Archaeological Park of Classe will liven up with 45 events. From music to comedy shows, from theatrical readings of the Divine Comedy to puppet shows for kids, with national and international famous artists.
In this special year, the Supreme Poet Dante Alighieri could not be left uncelebrated. The suggestive venue of the Ancient Port of Classe, which recalls the pine forests of Dante’s inspiration, has been enlarged for this occasion. Besides the already existing one, another arena of lesser dimensions has been built (about 140 seats).
Under the spotlight of Classe al Chiaro di Luna – 2021 is the cultural excellence of the city. But there’s more: among the enduring collaborations and new partnerships are Accademia Perduta/Romagna Teatri, Associazione Musicale Angelo Mariani, Bronson Produzioni, City Committee of Classe, Emilia Romagna Concerti, Young Musicians European Orchestra, La Corelli, MEB (Jewish Museum of Bologna), Il Ruggiero, Officina della Musica, Patàka, Cronopios, Ravenna Jazz, Teatro del Drago, Le Arti della Marionetta Summer.
Another news of the festival is that the gates will open at 7pm. You will have the chance to visit the Museum Classis until 8.45pm (admission fee included in the event ticket). Moreover, you will find PDO products and food miles tastings. Cappelletti, piadina, cheese, craft beer by local companies of excellence will be offered; the objective is to enhance the pair culture-food and wine, which makes so proud and famous our region.
