As every year in autumn, Ravenna Festival presents the AUTUMN TRILOGY, from 13th to 17th November at the Dante Alighieri theatre.
This year’s edition is called Mozart 1791. If one was to translate Dante’s verse in praise of St. Francis, “A sun was born into the world“, one would naturally think of Mozart’s extraordinary artistic career, which came to an untimely end in 1791 – a fateful yet extremely fruitful year for the composer, brimming with commissions and masterpieces.
The Trilogy relies entirely on the mastery of Ottavio Dantone and the creative rigour of Chiara Muti, and showcases a new production of La clemenza di Tito alongside an original creation titled L’ultimo incanto.
