From 8 March to 1 April 2024 the Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery remembers WOMEN IN THE HISTORY OF RAVENNA, an exhibition dedicated to fifteen women with great values and who have a special bond with Ravenna.
This exhibition, in its second edition, sees the empress Theodora as a timeless symbol for the former Byzantine capital and next to her a gallery of women involved in different fields: religious women, benefactors, educators and doctors, from Amalasunta to Antonia Alighieri , from Gabriella Rasponi Spalletti to Isotta Gervasi, from Natalina Vacchi to Maria Ponti Pasolini just to name a few.
A project by RavennaTourism in collaboration with Istituzione Biblioteca Classense, Casa delle Donne and the artist Rosetta Berardi.
