From 7th May to 5th June 2025 the Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery hosts CROCE ROSSA: VOLONTARI IN AZIONE, a photographic exhibition to tell the human face of the CRI.
The exhibition, organised by the Ravenna Red Cross Committee, is one of the many initiatives to celebrate the CRI on World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.
The exhibition recounts, through images, the daily commitment of Red Cross volunteers, often known for their work in ambulances, but also active in many other areas: health education, civil protection, support for sporting events, migrant reception, social activities, smile operators, solidarity markets, solidarity clinics, and much more.
The CRI Committee of Ravenna, an integral part of the Italian Red Cross with 675 local committees throughout Italy, thus celebrates the Red Cross, highlighting the humanity and dedication that every day animate the work of over 150.000 Italian volunteers and 17 million volunteers worldwide, united in the largest global humanitarian movement.
The exhibition also wants to be an opportunity to bring citizens closer to the world of volunteering, showing them the heart and strength of the Red Cross on the ground.
