From 31st October to 24th November 2024 the noble spaces of Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste in Ravenna will host the exhibition ROSETTA BERARDI. ICONOGRAFIE DEL DOLORE PRIVATO, curated by Linda Kniffitz and promoted by the Municipal Administration.
In this exhibition, art becomes a tool to explore and re-elaborate private pain, inviting the visitor to confront the anguish, melancholy and violence that cross human existence.
The exhibition is divided into six rooms, each dedicated to a specific theme, exploring a different dimension of suffering, with works ranging from painting to sculpture, photography to installations.
Rosetta Berardi, an artist with multiple influences and cultural roots, has distinguished herself for her ability to transform pain into an artistic journey.
Her works are rooted in tradition but strongly contemporary: her early works reflect the influences of master Umberto Folli with rapid brushstrokes and saturated colours, while her later production has evolved towards a more conceptual and minimalist approach.
