The exhibition area Manica Lunga in the Classense Library welcomes and shines of the brights colours of Pupazzi e Burattini raccontano – 40 anni di Teatro del Drago.
Born as a display of 40 years of experience in Puppetry of the Monticelli Family/Teatro del Drago, with five generations of marionettists and puppeteers behind, it recounts the four decades of this extraordinary activity.
The suggestive outfitting wants to show the evolution of this type of theatre as if it were a visual drama, connecting the 37 shows they have done over the years, created and produced by Andrea and Mauro Monticelli and their co-workers.
Initiative curated by Teatro del Drago Ravenna, with the support of the Culture Department of the Municipality of Ravenna and Istituzione Biblioteca Classense. In collaboration with the school “Nervi-Severini” Ravenna.
