The packed programme also includes the Opening Night, featuring a live musical accompaniment to Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lodger (1927) by Alfred Hitchcock, provided by the duo comprising guitarist and composer Paolo Spaccamonti and sound designer Gup Alcaro, special evenings with filmmakers in attendance and a trip down memory lane with tributes and retrospectives, such as the celebration marking the 60th anniversary of L’armata Brancaleone by the unforgettable Mario Monicelli.
