Holden Library

Via Alfredo Baccarini, 3 - Ravenna

La Biblioteca/officina creativa Holden (Holden Library/Creative Workshop) is a modern space dedicated to teenagers from 11 to 17 years old, located on the ground floor of the historic Biblioteca Classense. As a space for young people, adults are admitted only as temporary companions and to take out books.

To attend the Holden Library it is sufficient to be enrolled in one of the libraries of the Rete Bibliotecaria di Romagna and to have the authorisation of a parent or adult. Here children can find fiction, comics, manga, graphic novels, non-fiction, audio books, DVDs, music CDs, video games, board games and role-playing games.

In addition to book lending, the services offered include the use of Internet and word processing stations. There is also a rich programme of creative and artistic workshops, with the availability of study rooms, individual listening and viewing stations, and a cinema room.
