On 21st May 2026, the MAR – Ravenna Art Museum, will open the GALLERIA PAOLO ROVERSI, a new permanent space dedicated to the great Ravenna-born photographer, one of the most influential figures in international contemporary photography.
An immersive journey into the artist’s visual imagination, where iconic portraits, fashion photographs and still lifes interact within a space inspired by his studio, the heart of his creative practice.
The exhibition design guides visitors into a universe constructed through light, shadow and matter, transforming photography into a sensory experience.
The exhibition features some of his most famous subjects, from Kate Moss to Naomi Campbell, from Stella Tennant to Natalia Vodianova, right through to Rihanna, Golshifteh Farahani and his daughter Stella Roversi, images that have shaped contemporary aesthetics.
An exhibition that offers a glimpse into the vision of an artist capable of reinventing fashion and portrait photography with an instantly recognisable and deeply personal style.
