From 1st to 27th April 2026, the Via Zirardini Open-Air Gallery will host MATTIA MORENI. DALLA REGRESSIONE DELLA SPECIE ALL’UMANOIDE, a tribute to the exhibition of the same name on display at the MAR – Museo d’Arte della Città di Ravenna during the same period.
The project was conceived with the aim of guiding the public in discovering the figure and artistic practice of one of the most original figures in 20th-century Italian art, offering accessible and engaging interpretative tools even outside museum spaces.
The installations scattered throughout the urban space interact with the city, and Via Zirardini becomes an integral part of the exhibition experience, reaffirming the role of public space as a place open to knowledge and dialogue.
An invitation to reinterpret Moreni in his most radical and contemporary dimension, with a direct focus on his thinking and the cultural climate of the final years of his artistic practice.
