Every Saturday, a special tour takes you to the CESTHA Research Centre of Marina di Ravenna. You will have the chance to attend the evening meal of some protected sea animal species.
During your visit, you will meet the turtles treated at the centre. You will discover about the turtles’ history, medical diagnosis, healing and release into the sea. Moreover, you will feel the thrill of taking actively part in the feeding on their daily meal.
The experience is suitable for all and it aims at providing environmental education. The participation fee aims at supporting the hospitalised sea animal species, such as the turtles — the centre’s guest stars. These events and the gathered contributions allow the centre to cover the expenses for the drugs, treatments and specific vetenary tests.
