Artificerie Almagià and other places
16 April - 20 June 2026
Festival delle Culture 2026

From 16th April to 20th June 2026, the 19th edition of the FESTIVAL OF CULTURES returns under the title “Raccontare il mondo”, offering a reflection inspired by the words of Primo Levi: “If understanding is impossible, knowing is necessary”.

This edition features a wide-ranging programme of events, exhibitions and performances across the city, weaving together journalism, photography, literature, cinema and theatre to explore the contemporary world (wars, migration, human rights, intercultural coexistence).

Among the main events are the conference on ethical journalism “Parola Aperta” and the “Iconicphotography exhibition by World Press Photo in Piazza Kennedy – a collection of the winning shots from the prestigious event, capturing significant moments in contemporary history from 1955 to the present day.

The national conference on sea rescue, “Mediterraneo Oggi”, is also returning, following the first edition in 2025, which led to the drafting of the Ravenna Charter.

On 11th May, the Alighieri Theatre will host the performance “Crescere, la guerra” with Francesca Mannocchi and Rodrigo D’Erasmo, in a powerful interweaving of testimony, storytelling and memory.

Finally, the third edition of “Culture migranti alla Rocca” is set to return: a two-day festival featuring music, games, culinary delights from around the world, and opportunities for discussion and debate.
