On Sunday 13 November 2022 is scheduled the 23rd Ravenna Marathon – City of Art. Last year, the Ravenna Marathon has been inserted in the marathon network under Unesco’s patronage.
The Ravenna Marathon is, as usual, one of the most important track race events at national level. Every year, runners and accompanying people arrive in Ravenna to spend a weekend in the name of sport, culture and tourism.
The Ravenna Marathon is a wide event that ranges from the competitive races of the Marathon (42.195 km) and Half-Marathon (21.097 km) to the non-competitive ones, such as the Good Morning Ravenna (10.5 km), the Conad Family Run (2 km), the Dogs&Run (2 km) and the Correndo Senza Frontiere (2 Km). There are several trails on schedule, some of which take place one day before the official event.
The trails will be all within the city, except for the Marathon, which will run until Punta Marina Terme and will touch the Ravenna Unesco monuments. You will cross the heart of the city for a journey into the Byzantine history.
