For the forthcoming of the new season, Notte d’Oro, the white night of Ravenna, doubles, giving birth to Notte d’Oro Spring. On Saturday, 27 April, the spotlights turn on, illuminating the most suggestive corners in the city centre with events and shows of great interest.
Tourists and city dwellers will go back and forth through the most amazing spots of the city, visiting exhibitions, looking at video projections and taking part in the meetings dedicated to photography. As usual, the highly anticipated concert will take place in Piazza del Popolo with DEAR JACK & PIERDAVIDE CARONE (starting at 10.30pm), preceded by the youth of Sanremo Music Awards (8.00pm) Furthermore, clubs and bars in the city centre will offer many other initiatives, live concerts, and DJ mixes.
Palazzo Rasponi will host the works by Alberto Cottignoli and the exhibition of the 2018 edition of #arRAngiati. The inner garden will glow with the projection of Moon, a film by Ducan Jone (David Bowie's son), and with the musical score played live by Luca Maria Baldini. By popular demand, also the vintage photo booth Spring Snapshot returns at the Palace, and a second one will be placed at the Classense Library, which will also be animated by the performance Vocography, while the photos by Adam Victor and the voice of Eleonora VelkaSai will be inside the room Sala del Mosaico. The section of the library Manica Lunga will host today’s and yesterday’s pictures of Ravenna. Even the MAR Museum will be part of the event with the exhibitions by Arrigo Dolcini and Oliviero Toscani. Not to be missed, from 10.30pm, free concert in Piazza del Popolo.
