Dante2021 • 8th edition
Various venues of Ravenna - Via Dante Alighieri, 4/6
Zeitraum der Veranstaltung: von 12.09.2018 bis 16.09.2018

Dante2021, the only festival dedicated to the father of the Italian language, comes to its 8th edition and offers a full calendar of events towards the 7th centenary of Dante Alighieri's death.

This year's edition of the Festival is inspired by the verse from the Comedy: « With spirit that o'ercometh every battle» (Inferno XXIV, v. 53), a fragment taken from the passionate encouragement Virgil gives Dante that pushes him to face the climb from the end of the bolgia of hypocrisy

A diverse programme of events will take place from 12th to 16th September, with a special preview in the previous week, some readings of Dante's works entitled Dante Hors d’Oeuvre (D.H.O.).

Promoted by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna with the scientific direction of Accademia della Crusca di Firenze.
