A special tour of the Dante Alighieri Theatre of Ravenna
Dante Alighieri Theatre - via Angelo Mariani, 2
Hours: 10.15am / 11.15am / 12.15pm
On the occasion of the Autumn Trilogy (the opera festival from 1 to 10 November) and of the sporting event Ravenna City of Art Marathon, the Dante Alighieri Theatre opens its doors for an extraordinary guided tour to discover one of the most elegant historical theatres in Italy.
Built by the brothers Tomaso and Giovan Batista Meduna towards the first half of the 19th century, it became one of the protagonists of the city's cultural life. Several artists and personalities from all over the world went on that stage, from Gabriele D'Annunzio to the diva Maria Callas, who sang 'La forza del destino' in 1954.
This is a special occasion to let yourself be carried away by the charm of the scene and spend an hour discovering the beating heart of the cultural, musical and social life of a city.
Participation fee: €3 (booking is not compulsory)
