• Special trains for children
Railway Line Ravenna/Rimini
Date: 5 July - 26 August 2012 [Every Thursday at 7.35pm from Rimini and at 8.08pm from Ravenna]
After the success obtained last summer by the initiative "Train Train – a train for children", also this year, every Thursday evening, from July 5, young travellers will be able to enjoy entertainment, animation and games organised on carriages by the Fratelli di Taglia theatre company. The animation continues on pre-arranged carriages for the whole length of the journey, without any additional cost.
Getting off the train at signalled stops will be a special experience, thanks to the numerous initiatives aimed at younger travellers and adults accompanying them, available for free or strong reductions provided that you submit your train ticket. Among these initiatives, at the station of Ravenna there will be a buffet awaiting the young travellers, before they visit the archeological beauties of the old town centre. In Rimini instead they can discover the secrets of the ancient Romans' medicine at the Casa del Chirurgo and they can visit the Museum of the town. In Cesenatico they can visit the Museo della Marineria and take part in workshops on ancient seafaring traditions, involving the reading of fables and fantastic stories. In Cervia they will be able to ride their bikes through the town centre and in Bellaria they will find a children's market and a fascinating Museum of seashells.
