From 1st May until 31st October, you can celebrate your civil wedding in the beautiful setting of the loggia on the first floor of the Ravenna Art Museum (MAR). The loggia can accommodate up to thirty guests who, given the historical and artistic importance of the place, will have to observe certain rules for the protection of the museum.
Given the extensive programme of events of MAR, the request must be submitted to the Museum at least four weeks in advance, subject to availability to be checked at the competent office of the City of Ravenna (Ufficio Matrimoni).
The Classense Library is an extremely charming place inside, a former monastery of the Camaldolese order and now one of the most important ancient libraries in Italy.
Decorated by Cesare Pronti and embellished with paintings - among them, "Lazarus' Resurrection" by Francesco Zaganelli (1465-1532) - Sala Muratori is the perfect place to celebrate your wedding ceremony if you love art and culture.
It's the real crown jewel of the former monastery of Classense Library. It features precious wooden seatings at the walls, the main door, the vestibule, the fresco "La Visione di san Romualdo" at the ceiling and the painting by Luca Longhi (1507 - 1580) “Wedding at Cana”. A magic atmosphere to pronounce your special "I do".
TAMO Museum is a unique and fascinating space steeped in history and housed in the former Church of San Nicolò dating back to the second half of the 13th century. The 14th-century apse frescoes and the wonderful floor mosaics create the ideal setting for your wedding.
This ancient building is surrounded by the green Po Delta Park, now hosting the NatuRa Museum. Originally a tavern of the Duchy of Este, it was the aristocratic dwelling of the noble family of the Spreti for a long time. The building provides some special services, like an exclusive location for the photo shoot in the heart of Po Delta Park, a playground and games for children, an outdoor area for wedding parties and customized catering. All services are offered by Cooperativa Atlantide.
