On Saturday, 6th October, from 5pm until the first light of day, Ravenna, city of inspiration, music, arts and storytelling, awaits you for the 12th edition of Notte d'Oro, the traditional white night of the city.
It is a special night not-to-missed, where the spotlights turns on the most suggestive spots of the city centre with performances and events of great interest. On this special occasion, the city shines the spotlight on its most impressive and historical corners, that will become a stage for events and shows of great interest.
The event kicks off on 5th October at 6pm with the vernissage open to the public of ?War is Over. ARTS AND CONFLICTS between myth and contemporaneity at the Mar - Ravenna Art Museum, a visually striking and evoking exhibition of great impact.
Again, on Friday, 5th October, moving to the City Dock, the Notte d’Oro OFF, the event that anticipates and completes the Notte d’Oro, giving room for the artistic creativity of the city with music, installations, photography, painting, mosaic, dance, urban regeneration and - of course - good food.
On Saturday, 6th October the city welcomes you with meetings, performances and events all night long, like the free concert of LORENZO FRAGOLA at 10pm in Piazza del Popolo.
Palazzo Merlato, head office of the Municipality, will be open for the occasion also in the evening hours.
In addition, the guided tours and the special evening openings of museums, monuments and historic sites have been confirmed again this year.
Among the others, as of tradition, in collaboration with Circolo Sogni, the Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest will offer a programme of short films of great value for an evening dedicated to quality movies.
