On 23 July, Ravenna pays homage to its Patron Saint, Saint Apollinaris. This year, the celebrations will take place from 22 to 26 in various locations of the city centre and of Ravenna's surroundings with a full calendar of cultural events and much more for all.

Fireworks on Saint Apollinaris | From 11.30pm
Beaches of Ravenna
A great synchronised pyrotechnic show will illuminate the entire coast of Ravenna for more than 20 minutes with shiny and bright fireworks. #IoVadoAlMuseo on Saint Apollinaris
National Museum, Arian Baptistery, Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, Mausoleum of Theoderic, the so-called Theoderic's Palace

#IoVadoAlMuseo is the initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Goods and Activities that offers 20 days of free admission to all the Italian states museums, galleries, archaeological diggings, parks and monumental gardens.

On Tuesday, 23 July, for the Patron Saint of the city, the five monuments of Polo Museale Emilia Romagna (Ravenna) will be free admission. In this way, you can see for free the beauty of the mosaics inside the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe and of the Arian Baptistery; let yourself be amazed by the unique architecture of the Mausoleum of Theoderic and by the romantic suggestion of the "remains" of Theoderic's Palace, or lose yourself in the remote settings of the National Museum of Ravenna to discover the manifold and varied collections.

The Educational Services (Servizi Educativi) are glad to offer the following free guided tours to make your discover and knowledge of the Heritage in Ravenna even more interesting:
> Guided tour to the Mausoleum of Theoderic | At 10.30am
> Guided tour to the Arian Baptistery | At 12pm
> Guided tour to the National Museum | At 4.30pm
