The International Organ Music Festival is the first and most ancient organ festival in Italy and one of the oldest in Europe. It is an event of great importance that features major international organists.
Since the Basilica of San Vitale is closed to public concerts due to the Covid-19 safety measures, some of the most prestigious organ institutions in the world decided to homage the city of Ravenna and this festival with concert tailored on the Ravenna Polyphonic on live streaming.
Saint Petersburg Philharmonia, Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, the Accademia Organistica di Pistoia, Bologna Cathedral and Conservatory, Münstertal Swiss Collegiate, and then Berlin and Dijon are just some of the international sites that will broadcast in Ravenna their organ concerts, conducted by great maestros.
