Halloween in Ravenna 2016
Various locations
Dates: from 28/10/2016 to 01/11/2016. In addition, the event takes place on 22/10/2016

The most skeptical of you may have not put up with it yet, but Halloween is one of the most involving festivities of the past few years. Maybe it's its Goth allure, maybe the horror parades and walks or the fancy dress parties, but this ancient Celtic tradition is getting more and more popular in Italy and has gained a special place among the autumn events.

Several are the events dedicated to Halloween in Ravenna: the city is preparing for the scariest night of the year with a rich programme of parties, concerts, reading sessions, labs and much more in the name of terror.

Among the scheduled events, an Instagram contest “Keep Calm and Take a Picture with the Zombies!” in partnership with Mirabilandia. On Friday 28 October from 9pm until midnight an army of monsters and zombies will haunt the darkest corners of the city centre. Only the bravest photographers may try to get close to them and to take a picture, but don't forget to share them on Instagram with the official tag #HalloweenRavenna. The top five scariest pics will receive two free tickets for Mirabilandia to be used on the long Halloween weekend.
