On Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June, the seafront of Ravenna (Marina di Ravenna e Punta Marina Terme) will host the third edition of Valore Tricolore, a great event inaugurated in 2016 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Italian Republic that this year will commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War and of the death of Major Francesco Baracca.
During the weekend, the Frecce Tricolori of the National Acrobatic Patrol will fly in the skies of Ravenna, performing incredible maneuvers.
On Saturday 23rd, the entire day will be dedicated to the flight tests, while the main events will take place in the afternoon of Sunday 24th June, with the several flight demonstrations and aerobatics and with the long-awaited flight of the Frecce Tricolori. Moreover, representatives of all Armed Forces and Italian Police Forces will take part to the event with performances along the seafront of Punta Marina Terme starting from 4pm.
This year, finally, starting from Friday 22 June until the last day of the event, people will have the opportunity to visit the armoured frigate Martinengo (FREMM class) of the Italian Navy (Marina Militare Italiana) docked at the Fabbrica Vecchia di Marina di Ravenna (Gruppo Ormeggiatori - Via Fabbrica Vecchia 5) and Nave Galatea, instead, at the Ravenna Cruise Port (Porto Corsini).
The event has been organised by the Aero Club Francesco Baracca of Lugo with the support of the Municipality of Ravenna, the Emilia Romagna Region, the Province of Ravenna and the Municipality of Lugo.
