The travelling exhibit Touroperator, diary of lives from the sea of Sicily by Massimo Sansavini continues its journey and arrives in Ravenna. It exhibits 20 sculptures and some unreleased site-specifics.
The artworks were realised with the woods coming from the boats of migrants, and they recall the awful events that have occurred on the Italian coasts. The itinerary is enriched with pictures, videos, and informative panels, aiming at a better understanding of the complex world of migrations.
For your children, there is also a game-visit chance to approach them to the cultural diversity through playful activities.
This initiative has been recommended by Rete Civile contro il Razzismo e Xenofobia di Ravenna, Casa delle Culture and the Immigration Municipal Department. Curated by Anna Fiorentini, texts by Valeria Arnaldi, Daniela Brignone, Pietro Bartolo, Davide Rondoni.
