Magazzeno Art Gallery presents the personal exhibition by Marco Vacchi The new New York, curated by Alice Lonardi. The artist from Ravenna moved in New York and, inspired by the style and by the various expressions of the city, he began to dedicate himself to his project, by now triennial, entitled "New York from the Yellow Cab".
Vacchi photographs the people that live in New York through the window of one of the famous yellow taxis, catching in this way the soul of the city and of its citizens, accurately avoiding all the stereotyped landscapes tourists love. Among the photos on display - strictly B&W - there will be unpublished images, collected in the second edition of the book “New York from the Yellow Cab”, published on the occasion of this personal exhibition.
