After the solo exhibits by Abdulazez Dukhan and Marcin Ryczek, second and third place respectively at photo project PR2 Camera Work, from 3rd to 24th September Palazzo Rasponi2 hosts the Italian artist Luana Rigolli with exhibition Comfortably boring little World.
Placed first, the work by Luana Rigolli expresses through her photos the authentic side of America, the bored and closed one that Hollywood rarely portrays. In 2015 the artist crossed the States for 21 days, from New York to Los Angeles, with a total of 8.000 km and over 12 countries, looking for similarities between the Emilia, her homeland, and the American countryside.
[*PR2 Camera Work is a competition for young photographers under 35. The participants developed the theme of Borders]
Luana Rigolli discovered her passion for photography during her years at Civil Engineering. She is member of collective dieciXdieci; since 2015 she has been organising with them the contemporary photography festival in Gonzaga.
