The MAR Museum of Ravenna - after the Museo del Novecento in Milan, the Museo degli Innocenti in Florence and the Synagogue in Via dell'Aquila in Reggio Emilia - hosts the exhibition Lica and Albe Steiner.
The exhibition, curated by Anna Steiner and designed by the Origoni-Steiner atelier, offers a panoramic analysis of the works of what is known as one of the most fertile professional and personal relationships of Italian graphics. They created hundreds of significant works, such as the design of the original Coop logo of 1963, the whole Feltrinelli design of the 60es-70es and the big advertisement campaigns for the Pirelli and La Rinascente companies, at their very beginning.
The exhibition displays works from their Studio L.A.S., from the first works dating back 1939 until those dating back to the Liberation period and to their journey in Mexico (1946-1948): it is a storytelling divided into different sections - graphic and photographic research, publishing, advertisement and set design, logos, product launch, bill and civic engagement graphics, professional development - until arriving to Lica's own works section, belonging to the period from 1974 - from Albe's death, to the year 2008, when she dies.
