From April 3 to October 30 two prestigious locations, the National Museum of Ravenna and the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, will host the exhibition La forma del dialogo - Bruno Ceccobelli and the icons of the Classense collection: on the one hand the collection of paintings of the National Museum, with the reorganisation of the Sala delle Icone and over 200 artworks dating back between the 14th and 18th centuries, on the other hand the artistic site-specific installations by Bruno Ceccobelli, designed for the spaces of both sites.
Bruno Ceccobelli (Montecastello di Vibio, September 2, 1952), lives and works in Todi. After a degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, he met several masters and made artistic experimentation in a mystic and philosophical field. From the second half of the '70s he belonged to the socalled "Nuova scuola romana", also known as "Scuola di San Lorenzo". His research met very conceptual outcomes at the beginning of his career, for example with the use of natural materials, then it came to a spiritual Symbolism with the use of painting, sculpture and artistic installations.
