From 6th to 29th April, the Classense Library, in collaboration with Scrittura Festival, hosts in its venue Manica Lunga the exhibition “La Storia illustrata da Luca Tarlazzi”, which pays a tribute to this inexhaustible artist and his most extraordinary and beloved expressive art, displaying the most important and famous boards and covers of is work from the 1990s up to today.
He was born in Lugo (Romagna) in 1962. After his studies at the Fine Arts high school in Ravenna, he started his work as an illustrator and cartoonist. Today he deals with art, advertising, and publishing. He has been working with important Italian publishing groups like L'Espresso, Mondadori, RCS Rizzoli, De Agostini. He drew covers for famous international writers like Ken Follett, R.R. Martin (ten covers for "Games of Thrones"!), Corrado Augias, Valerio Massimo Manfredi and many other. He has been working for years with Alberto Angela with the purpose of creating the historic vires dedicated to Rome and he has always been the illustrator and co-worker of 3ntini Editore.
