Il Respiro del tempo ("The breath of time") is the title of the new exhibition that will animate the venues of Palazzo Rasponi2 from 4 November 2017 to 7 January 2018.
The exhibition is entirely dedicated to Ulisse Bezzi, who is not only a tireless photographer, but also, and above all, a farmer of San Pietro in Vincoli, a small village in Ravenna. He is a citizen like many others, who became famous thanks to the gallerist from New York Keith De Lellis, an expert in photography dealing with “Italian Neorealism”: Keith De Lellis bought a huge number of Ulisse Bezzi's pictures in 2015 bringing to the attention of so many people his extraordinary ability.
The exhibition shows beyond catalogues and documents of that time, thirty original prints, together with a self-portrait that the old artist still bewares in his country house. The photos are all evidences of a changing land, from the beaches to the hills, as well as urban transformation. The exhibition also consists of little set-ups with friend's faces or children's portraits, underlining a style characterised by the continuous research for always new gazes.
