From Saturday, 24th March to Saturday, 19th May, the Classense Library will host an archives exhibition dedicated to the ancient mills of Ravenna that have now disappeared, but that have left their traces in the toponymy.
The documents on display, all coming from the wide historic municipal Archive of Ravenna, will try to explain how the mills of Ravenna functioned, which role they played in the events, the economic development and the evolution of the hydrographical aspect of the city, as well as which people controlled them, showing another face of Ravenna.
Curated by Claudia Foschini and Mauro Mazzotti.
