Arrigo Dolcini, born in 1908, worked between the 40es up to the 70es as a photographer in Marina di Ravenna, in an atelier and film shop called Foto Nettuno. He sometimes moved from there to take pictures at wedding and baptism celebrations, birthday parties, news and, most of all, at the beach of Marina di Ravenna, where people loved to be seen lying on the water's edge.
Curators Alessandra Dragoni and Gabriele Pezzi - photographers in turn - tries to understand the view and method of the artists but, most of all, his inclination for the human that clearly arises in his portraits both taken in his atelier and outdoors.
