Video contest #myRavenna. Be Inspired
Several places of the city
Dates: from 06/10/2018 to 14/12/2018
Is there a way to measure the beauty of a city?
It's a difficult question to answer, and there is not an easy way to do it: you cannot write down a list of the monuments it hosts or count the number of visitors that it welcomed every year.
To catch the vital energy of the social fabric and the artistic heritage of a city, we need something more, something that takes into account the inspiration and suggestion force it can evoke: this is maybe the best way to answer our question.
Right from this observation raises the video contest #myRavenna. Be inspired, the new digital project of the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Ravenna, but what is it?
Videomakers, professionals or not, all of them are invited to send a brief video that communicates the irresistible charm that the city of Ravenna releases.
How to participate in the Video Contest #myRavenna?
You can choose between two categories:
• The new exhibition of the MAR - Ravenna Art Museum ?War is Over - ART AND CONFLICTS and the Statue of Guidarello Guidarelli, which is on display inside the museum;
• Ravenna itself as the city of inspiration - today like it was in the past - for travellers, artists, scholars.
Registration is free of charge and open to everyone; you can be single participants as well as a team (one or the other, not both); you can even choose to enrol in both of the themes, but only one video for each category can be presented.
The videos - with about 1-minute duration (min. 30 seconds, max. 90 seconds) - have to be delivered by Friday, 30th November at 12pm by email, writing to email@example.com
Again, on Friday, 30th November, the videos will be published on the YouTube channel of RavennaTourism and will be left to people's judgment.
After this, the videos will be judged by a qualified jury that will decide the winners, assigning a cash prize to the first three places of each category. The award-giving ceremony will take place on Friday, 14th December at MAR - Ravenna Art Museum.
The initiative is part of the project Laboratorio Aperto Ravenna (supported by Asse 6 del POR FESR Emilia Romagna 2014 - 2020) and of enERgie Diffuse Emilia-Romagna a heritage of cultures and humanity, which is a project promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region, on the occasion of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage.
