Savio/Mirabilandia is a small village that rises between Ravenna and Milano Marittima along the Savio river, in the surroundings of the Pinewood of Classe. This densely populated village stretches alongside the Adriatica trunk road and hosts a parish church that contains the painting “Madonna and Saints” by Andrea Barbiani of Ravenna (18th century).
In Savio/Mirabilandia there are the Mirabilandia amusement park, one of the biggest in Italy, full of attractions and live shows, and Zoo Safari Ravenna zoo, a zero-impact natural reserve for the close observation and study of animals.
